I've begun to schedule teacher time on my calendar. Click here to see available dates. Please know that my hourly rate depends on the kind of lesson I teach. Some lessons require little or no preparation, but others require more of my time to prepare and correct work. I look forward to offering more live instruction, and I will be offering both private lessons and group classes.

This month I'd like to feature Make Beliefs Comix. The site creator, Bill Zimmerman, understands that humor and creativity marry well with language learning and instruction. Tips for educators are offered on the site, and I encourage teachers to read my related blog posts on WordPress. One post demonstrates use of this medium to teach conversational etiquette. A second post suggests using Make Beliefs Comix to generate responses to political cartoons, which would demonstrate comprehension and allow the expression of personal opinion.
