If you’ve watched my videos, you should have some idea about my teaching style and skills. Would you like to know more before making the decision to sign up for group classes or private instruction? Some of my former students from the traditional classroom setting have agreed to describe their learning experience with me:

Learning English with Jennifer is not only about correcting grammar or adding vocabulary. It’s about getting to express myself better in a different language as well as culture. I learned to communicate what I really want to say and show my classmates the real me from my private English lessons with Jennifer. She made the whole experience enjoyable and rewarding by spending time to understand my frustrations and share her real thoughts on my school projects. With her help, I managed to gain more than what I could’ve expected during my study in the US.

My name is Kate and I’m from Kaliningrad, Russia. 6 years ago I was lucky to have classes with Jennifer such as Grammar, Vocabulary, Writing, Conversation, Pronunciation, Current Issues and I also attended a special course of hers called the Tutor Preparation Program.
In my memory Jennifer will always remain as a positive competent professional who knows the students’ needs and possibilities and can motivate them to improve their knowledge with every step they make. The process of studying is not that easy, but Jennifer is a master of giving various explanations, parallels, and comparisons, so students better understand the meaning and use of the words or grammar structures.
I’m extremely grateful that Jennifer has opened for me a door to real pedagogy. And now when I got my PhD in multicultural education, I must underline that a part of this degree belongs to her.

Here is what makes Jennifer the best English teacher I have ever had.

When you start Jennifer’s English lessons, you think, How great her lesson is! I’m so lucky! Because my English improved a lot after taking her classes.

My teacher training with Jennifer gave me the fundamentals that I would use in my approach even now, 5 years later. Her thoroughness in the choice of my study materials and her attention to the detail of teaching also gave me confidence by training’s end that I had the tools to face any teaching situation. Jennifer’s instruction turned out to be exactly what I needed in order to go abroad and be sure-footed even in a completely foreign education system. I’m indebted to her also as someone who modeled for me so many of the qualities of what makes a good teacher and I carry this sense with me still.
